High Country Insulation Problem

I phoned High Country Insulation ten months ago in regards to blowing some insulation into my attic. I only needed about 150 square feet so it was a very small job and I was fine to wait for them to be around my neighborhood. After seven months I phoned them to see if they had forgotten about me but they hadn't so that was cool. Finally they called and said they would be able to squeeze me in. They had forgotten how much they had quoted and in fact didn't even know where I lived. I told them the details again. The secretary then put me on hold to speak with her superior. She said sorry but due to the higher cost of gas there was no way they could do the job for the original quote. They then more than doubled the price of the quote! I think they were taking advantage of the now very cold weather and didn't expect that I would post this lousy review. I'm sure that for normal jobs they play fairer but this was a lousy way to conduct business.

If you choose High Country Insulation, get their quote in writing! Kelowna has a lot of alternative insulation companies you might consider instead.
